Business Opportunity Questions and Answers

Q: Why did you start this service? I can fill out requests for information in many places?
A: Sincere opportunity seekers and business providers need help in identifying people and opportunities that are a good match. That's where we hope our service can make a difference.

To be candid, a lot of people complete information requests all the time at different places. However, things are changing in part due to uncertain economic times. Business providers are always looking for sincere candidates and do find them but at a cost that involves a major committment of their time and resources.

The reality is that the search for desired home-business opportunities is becoming more competitive as more and more people need to find a way to produce additional income in light of real and possible layoffs due to downsizing and other unprecendented economic events that are a reality today.

Our service is positioned to help fill a void offering a service that emphasizes a qualitiative approach.

Q: What can your service do for me?
A: In a nutshell, HBBMM.com offers a home-based business match-making service. Our goal is simply to help facilitate a good match between business opportunity providers and those who are seeking a business opportunity.

Q: What is a Business Provider?
A: A Business Provider is someone who represents or owns a company that offers home-based business, independent business opportunities, franchise businesses, and other types of businesses.

Q: Do you guarantee that all Business Providers are legitimate? In other words, if I'm concerned about scams, will that be something that you can prevent?
A: There are a lot of good companies who offer legitimate products and services - even so, we do have guidelines that Business Providers must meet in order to be approved. We suggest however, that business seekers perform what's known as due diligence and take steps to research any company and opportunity before deciding to work with them or represent them. You'll want to ak their representatives questions to determine if you feel comfortable with the company and how they operate, their compensation plans, etc. There is no substitute for doing your own homework. This is the responsibility of each and every opportunity seeker. Our web site's terms and conditions will help you gain understanding about what we can do and don't do and who can participate. We also provide tips for opportunity seekers to help you get started on the right foot.

Q: How do I start working with your service?
A: Just register as a business seeker or business provider as the case may be, and follow the instructions you'll receive. You'll find it's easy to get started and you'll be able to choose from a variety of services based on your level of interest.

Q: Once I register, how quickly can I expect to receive opportunity offers?
A: Normally, you can expect to start receiving offers in a matter of a few days but naturally timing can and will vary depending on factors such as time of year, holidays, quality of information you have provided, etc.

Q: If I don't receive offers what does that mean?
A: It doesn't necessary indicate a problem with our services. So, we would suggest you be patient and if after a few days to a week, you haven't received anything, consider reviewing your profile information and the information you provided. The more information you provide, the more likely a prospect business provider will see potential for a good match.

Q: Is a fee required to register or use your service?
A: No. Business Opportunity seekers can participate without charge.

Q: Do I have to have business or home-based business experience to participate?
A: No. It doesn't necessarily matter whether you are experienced or not or even how successful you are or aren't because this is all about creating - being willing to endeavor to create your own opportunity in the form of a home business.

Q: What types of tools are available?
A: Actually several tools and resources will be made available over time. For example, we are planning to incorporate a free professionally developed aptitude test known as the Entrepreneurial Basic Profile and Aptitude Test or EBPAT. This free test, based on the proven O*Net battery of occupational profile tests will enable you to get a snapshot of your interests and see how they match up with interests that are helpful in the area of home-based business.

In addition, our automated system is designed to facilitate matching your interests and aptitudes with an business opportunity. For example, when you register as a business opportunity seeker, you can use the registration form to provide basic information about yourself and what you are looking for. In addition, you'll notice when register that there is an optional interest section that will allow you to share more about yourself and your interests which can be used convey more about your career and individual interests. By design, the service is meant to help you find a a better match with home business opportunities that might be of interest to you.

Q: Can I choose to activate or deactivate my profile if I find an opportunity or no longer wish to participate in your matching service?
A: Yes. You can deactivate your account and profile at any time. Once you deactivate your profile and it remains dormant for over 90 days, you'll need to re-register should you decide you want to participate in the future. We'll normally send a reminder to renew by email. However, if you change your mind and it's been less than 60 days since you placed your account on inactive status, you can re-activate your account by simply logging in and resetting your account status.

Q: How do I know my information is safe and secure?
A: First, we don't ask for or store information that could cause you to have problems. For example, we don't ask for social security numbers or other information that's financially sensitive. Site access is strictly controlled by the password system and access to all areas of the site is restricted, monitored and logged.

Q: OK. it seems like I can set up my profile which is somewhat like an employment profile or an informal application - but can I determine what prospective business providers can see or not see? In other words, does my information become available to any business provider or can I control that?
A: Good question. Registered opportunity seekers can determine the information that is visible by adjusting your account settings. Of course, you'll be completing a profile when you register so you can find a good match with your interests and aptitudes, so you'll probably want basic contact information to be available. Beyond that, everything is optional.

Q: What is the minimum information that should be visible to business opportunity providers?

A: We recommend that you make the following information available if you are actively looking for a work-at-home opportunity:
- First name, telephone number, email address, State or province where you reside, and your goals and interests. The other information can be made invisible or visible as you prefer.

Q: Exactly how would I be matched to an opportunity? In other words do I need to do something after I register or confirm my interest to get the ball rolling?
A: Actually you don't have to do anything other than allow your profile or account to remain active. The system will do the work of matching for you. As an example, if you want a turn-key work-at-home business, and you're interested in health and perhaps alternative health, our system can suggest you as likely prospect to providers whose opportunities involve health related businesses.

Q: What happens after I activate my profile?
A: You can start receiving offers and information as soon as you activate your profile.

Q: How do I access my account after I register in case I want to change something.
A: Just login using your user name and password and then you can change your information. You are basically able to control all aspects of your participation through your own private back office. You can choose how you would like to be contacted by business providers, the types of companies or opportunities that are interested in, and more. Your back office provides you with a level of control that no one else offers.

Q: I basically understand what your service is about but I don't get the big picture. What do business providers have access to? Can they see all of my information - the information in my profile - and what if I'm not comfortable with that. Can I see what business providers will see?
A: Beyond suggested basic contact information, we will be implementing a system feature that will allow business providers will have access to information that you allow them to see. This is something you will be able to control completely and it's all controlled online through your back office. Until this feature is implemented, all standard information required as part of your basic profile will be available to business providers.

Business providers will be able to view candidate information when they look for candidates that meet their criteria. Likely candidate information will be formatted so business providers can determine if they might have an interest in contacting you based on the information you provided and made visible. Here's one format:

Name - Telephone --- Email --- State -- Interests -- Income Goal, etc.
Fred -- 770-942-9999 f@ff.com GA --Hiking Nutrition $5,000 monthly

Q: Where is HBBMM.com located?
A: We are located in Paulding County Georgia in the South East United States.

Q: I was not able to register because a message displayed stating that my email address was already on file. What does this mean and how can I register.
A: We comment on this in the registration area but in a nutshell, if your email address is already associated with an account it usually indicates one of two things.
1- Someone may have registered to use the service but they no longer have the same email address as they let it expire and then you acquired the email address later, or
2- you may have participated in an online survey and we invited you to confirm your interest but you didn't due to some unknown reason. It could be you never received or responded to our confirmation request email.

Q: What do you mean by an online survey? I requested information recently online after clicking on an ad on a web site, but don't understand why I have to confirm my information after I already provided it one time already.

A: Let's comment on the last part of your question first. We ask that you confirm you information one time. Sometime after you complete a survey online run by an affiliated site, or register at HBBMM.com, we will normally send a confirmation email either directly from HBBMM.com or through a third-party confirmation service. When you confirm your information, that lets the system know that you are truly interested and this removes the possibility of error and prevents someone else from setting up an account using an email address that doesn't belong to them.

Confirming your information is one way we can make sure you are really interested in finding a home-based business and this helps us to operate our service securely. If you don't confirm using the email we send to you, you will not be able to access your account because it hasn't been confirmed.

In the first part of your question, you asked what is an "online survey". An online survey is usually found on a web site that offers information about working at home - specifically about a home-based business, work-at-home opportunity, or independent career opportunity. A survey is typically displayed when an ad is clicked or the survey page or it may be displayed as part of a web site that someone visits. Completing some type of survey form is the way most people who are looking for a home-based business request information. When someone is looking for a business or income opportunity, they must complete the survey form successfully for their information to be accepted by the system.

Q: It seems like other companies generate sales inquiries. What makes your service different and worthwhile?
A: The biggest and most important difference is that the current request method utilized by most companies doesn't provide the respondent with the option to change their status or update their information. We give respondents the option to control their status and information. That's where we differ from every other service providers. In addition, HBBMM.com will provide additional information tools - both automated and manual - to help opportunity seekers increase the chances of finding an opportunity that is a good match with their skill, abilities, and interests.

Q: I received an email requesting that I confirm my interest in a home-based business but don't understand why I received it.
A: If you found our web site and registered to use our service, you will receive a confirmation email. You may also have completed a survey form online which may generate a confirmation email. Our system will not send an email to opportunity seekers other than in response to an online request for information triggered by completing a survey form or by registering here at HBBMM.com.

Q: Do you send or use unsolicited email or spam to promote your service?
A: No. We adhere to a strict no-Spam policy and will follow-up with any abuse report.

Q: If I utilize your service will I receive unsolicited email from HBBMM.com?
A: As a registered opportunity seeker, you'll be able to toggle your email preferences in your back office which will determine if you wish to be contacted with opportunity offers from our approved providers and soon you'll be able to indicate your preferred method of contact. Right now, you can change your status from active to inactive at any time. If you set your status to be inactive, you will not receive any information from business service providers. We may send administration announcements and reminders if your term of service is due to expire.

Q: How will I know if a confirmation email comes from your service?
A: We will always clearly identify our company name in any and all email correspondence. Also, please note that we will never ask you to provide personal information in an email. This is a strict policy to help members avoid phishing schemes or other related issues.

Q: If I deactivate my account will that prevent me from receiving email offers from your participating business opportunity providers and other companies too?
A: If you deactivate your account, you will not receive email from our registered providers. However, HBBMM.com does not control what other companies or sales lead management providers or operations do with information that respondents submit to them. So, if you submit information to other companies who aren't affiliated with HBBMM.com, you'll need to contact them directly. Also, it's important to understand that business seekers can elect to participate with providers who are members of our service or elect to make their information public on a global basis. Additional information may be available after registration is completed.

Q: I have a friend who wants to start a home-based business. Where should they go online to request information?
A: You can direct them to this web site, HBBMM.com, and as you now know, once they register as a business opportunity seeker, they will be able to control their job or business search. In addition, we list resources that can be helpful to those who are looking for opportunities. The first thing they might want to do is to take advantage of our free Entrepreneurial Aptitude Test. The Interest Profile can be helpful to budding entrepreneurs and those who are considering a home-based business. We do not recommend other web sites because there is no guarantee as to how their information will be managed or long it remain active, etc.

Q: Once I register, how long will my account remain active?
A: Your registered account will remain active until you change your status to inactive. This is something that you control through your back office along with other account settings. We may contact you to ask if you wish to remain active in our system if your account seems to be inactive for a period of time or to confirm your desire to remain active past 90 days. Current information is available through the back office.

Q: Can anyone else change my account information or preferences?
A: No. Once your registered account is set-up, only you will have a password which means no one else can change your account or information you provided. You'll receive a user-id and password and your password will be encrypted. System maintenance and administration access excepted. We reserve the right to make information available if required by warrant or other legitimate law enforcement or court-related activity.
